Maximise your car’s resale value
Remember that feeling of walking into a showroom and buying your first car? That excitement… The anticipation… Selling your car can be as rewarding… Rest assured… The best way to get the best out of your car is to keep it well maintained throughout your purchase.
Here are a few tips:
- Keep your mileage low: Anything more than 30,000 kms a year should be avoided where possible.
- Service Books: Make sure those service books are up to date and stamped by a reputable mechanic. The last thing you would want your buyer to see is an inconsistent service history.
- Factory fitted accessories: So the question is do you really need these aftermarket accessories such as stereo systems, bull bars etc? It may look all fancy but to a buyer or dealer it’s just another accessory. Dealers often disregard them, so in other words its money wasted when the time comes to sell.
- Colours: Avoid loud colours especially on luxury cars. Did you know White, silver or grey are the best resale performers?
