Tony Abbott encourages Employees to Salary Package a New Car
In an open letter to Employers and Employees, Prime Minister Elect, Mr Tony Abbott has declared that changes to FBT arrangements on cars as proposed by the current Labor government will not be implemented.
Specifically, the letter states, “Labor’s FBT changes will become null and void”.
Further, the letter encouraged “employers and employees engaged in salary sacrifice programs, to urgently and immediately return to normal trading activity”.
